Happy Chinese New Year

The Chinese Lunar New Year is a traditional holiday celebrated through various traditions and customs – of these include: family gatherings, the distribution of “lai see”, fireworks and firecrackers and flowers.

As much as I would’ve loved to visit the Victoria Park Flower Market in HK, I didn’t have the time. Instead, I visited another flower market organized by the Hong Kong community at my local district – a ten minute walk away from home.

I think what’s so unique about Chinese culture are how rooted their traditions are and how significant their role is towards the society.

Kung Hei Fat Choi! Here’s to a prosperous year of the horse and continuous blessings!
